There’s so much to see and do!

Public steering

Steer one of our steam engines around the Len Murray Arena and find out what it takes to manoeuvre one of these incredible machines. Public steering will take place at 11.30am on both days in the Len Murray Arena – there is no charge for this experience however a donation to our chosen charities can be made when registering.

Stannage Stunt Team

The Stannage Stunt Team will be bringing their thrilling display to the show this year. Catch them in the Len Murray Arena at 10am and 4.15pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

Will’s Working Spaniels

Starting with one dog, Will shows how he trains for the shooting field, then increasing the number of dogs to 3 or even 6, he will be demonstrating how he trains and works the dogs on a shextoot. He will end up with them all out in the ring and will also have a stand where you can see all the dogs and ask questions. You can find Will in our Parade Ring, kindly sponsored by Farnham Leisure.

Suffolk Swords

Suffolk Swords are a 15th Century reenactment group who take part in national reenactment battles and combat displays, and will be showcasing their skills in swordsmanship.

Lowestoft Dog Agility Display Team

We’re pleased to welcome the ‘A Team’ back to the show this year. Enjoy these amazing dogs, which include many different breeds and cross breeds, as they perform their fast-paced displays. You can find the A Team in our Parade Ring, sponsored by Farnham Leisure.

East Anglian Heavy Horse Display Team

The team will be displaying a range of heavy horse breeds, including the majestic Clydesdale, the impressive Shire, the sturdy Suffolk Punch, the elegant Percheron and a powerful Belgian draft horse. The performances provide a glimpse into the historical and modern uses for these heavy horses – find them in our Len Murray Arena!

Steam Stamp Trail

Look out for our stamp trail – back for 2025! Around the site, there will be stamps for children (and grown-ups!) to collect, stamp within our souvenir programme and take back to our Information Tent (by 2.30pm on Sunday 21 September) for a small gift and to be entered into our prize draw. Collect your free programme from our Information Tent, next to the Len Murray Arena.

Children’s Corner
Andy the Clown

Andy provides fun and magical entertainment for children of all ages. Andy sings, dances, plays games, tells jokes and even performs magic tricks.

Hanton’s Punch and Judy

Performing across East Anglia, Hanton’s Punch and Judy will be entertaining children with their traditional show. That’s the way to do it!

Pakefield Pastures Alpaca Walks

Pakefield Pastures provide wellbeing and animal therapy to all ages – come and meet the animals!

Storm in a Teacup circus

Look out for hula hoop walkabout performances around the show, as well as hula hoop workshops and stilt walking!

Craft Marquees

In the craft marquees, you will find a wide variety of additional crafts on display and for sale, including jewellery, paintings, glassware and gifts.

Model marquee area

There will be many models on display in the model marquee, showing the skill, dedication and enthusiasm of the exhibitors.

Model railway marquee

A large Gauge 1 railway running around the whole marquee.

Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) demonstrations

SARS will be giving demonstrations on their work in our Parade Ring at 1.30pm on both days.

Fairground
The Village Pantry

This is the show’s own catering outlet offering tea, sandwiches, cakes and soft drinks and a place to rest your legs. This marquee has a history originating in the first rally and is staffed by volunteers from the surrounding villages with all profits going to charity.
